Alison coordinates and assists Franklin Method Teacher Trainings and co-wrote Understanding the Pelvis: A Functional Approach to Yoga with Eric Franklin.

She shares ongoing yoga/movement classes and embodied study with such wonderful organizations as Guide Dogs for the Blind, eBay, Kaiser Permanente, Oregon School of Massage, Rebound Physical Therapy and the Portland Opera. She leads in-person, hands-on cadaver dissection intensives as well as online experiential anatomy courses with her cherished colleague, Ann Teachworth.

Part 4: Using restorative practice and yoga nidra to address panic attacks

In this video, Alison encourages her young student singer to use proprioception, anatomical understanding of the diaphragm, breath, and yoga nidra to realign her posture, avoid panic attacks, and feel more grounded in herself. Alison also shares her general framework for working with students with anxiety.
